Our Dietitian


Joyce graduated with a Master in Nutrition and Dietetics from Flinders University, South Australia in 2010. She gained her clinical knowledge in a public hospital for the next 8 years in Singapore; managing patients with diabetes, high cholesterol, hypertension, cancers, kidney disease, HIV/AIDS, feeding difficulties and those requiring surgeries.

In recent years, people are becoming more knowledgeable about diet and nutrition yet the rate of lifestyle diseases is on the rise. Joyce decided to leave the hospital setting and set up her own private practice to make dietetic services more assessible to the community.

She hopes by sharing evidence-based nutrition tips and debunking myths with the truths, people will be empowered to make better informed food choices and improve their health outcomes.

Real food is a wholesome natural substance that is low in additives and rich in nutrients; food that is as close to its natural and original state. At Real Food Matters, we promote food rather than nutrients because food is deeply entwined in the human psyche. Eating a healthy balanced diet provides you with energy and nutrients to stay strong and healthy. We understand that everyone has different nutrition needs, eating behaviours and lifestyles. Hence, we provide customised and practical nutrition advice to better suit your needs.
